It’s true, I’ve been singing since before I could speak. In fact, one of my earliest memories is asking my parents for singing lessons at three.
When you truly love doing something you can feel it in your soul, that is how I feel when I am singing. It is the greatest gift I have ever been given. It has taken me around the world singing at all of my late father’s lectures while kept me busy at home singing at smaller events as well.
Currently performing has taken a little back seat since having my son, it will always be my passion.

I never thought of myself as a writer.
While I have been writing songs since I was a teenager, the concept of writing anything else seemed foreign to me.
A couple of years ago a friend suggested I write a monthly article for an emerging website. The idea scared me, naturally I had to do it. Turns out I loved it. We all need a challenge, that takes us out of our comfort zone and writing did that for me.
Since then I have written multiple articles for various websites and blogs.

Public speaking terrified me.
While I could sing in front of thousands of people and feel at home or talk to anyone about anything, speaking without the engagement of another person left me frozen.
I started slow, making myself speak for a minute or two before I started singing, then gradually it became effortless. Whether speaking on panels or broadcasting to thousands with my Ted talk, speaking has become another passion and platform for sharing myself with others.
